Staff Training Portal

Welcome to the Quality Care Time training portal.

This page provides access to the training modules required for staff working within our service. Each training topic contains learning material such as videos, handouts, or guidance, followed by a short test or form to confirm understanding.

Please complete all required training and submit any worksheets or tests as instructed.

Core Training

Basic Life Support

Understanding how to respond in emergency situations including loss of consciousness, breathing difficulties, and cardiac arrest.

Body Mapping

Understanding how to record and monitor changes to a client’s skin condition, including bruising, injuries, or pressure areas.

​

Personal Development

Developing skills, confidence, and reflective practice to improve the quality of care delivered.

​

​

Safeguarding

Recognising signs of abuse or neglect and understanding how to report safeguarding concerns appropriately.

​

Privacy and Dignity

Supporting individuals in a way that respects their independence, personal space, and dignity at all times.

​

Medication

Understanding safe medication support, observation of side effects, and the importance of accurate recording.

​

Moving and Handling

Understanding safe techniques for assisting individuals with mobility while reducing risk of injury to both staff and clients.

Equality and Diversity

Understanding how to support individuals with respect, dignity, and fairness regardless of background, culture, beliefs, or personal circumstances.

Health and Safety 

Understanding safe working practices to protect yourself, colleagues, and the individuals you support.

Infection Prevention and Control

Understanding how infections spread and the steps required to prevent transmission in care settings.

Person-Centred Care

Understanding how to support individuals according to their preferences, needs, and choices.

Incident Reporting

Understanding how to correctly record and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.

​

​

Sexual Harassment

Understanding how to recognise, prevent, and report sexual harassment, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for staff and clients.

Mental Health Awareness

Understanding common mental health conditions and how they may affect individuals receiving care.

Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH)

Understanding the symptoms and support needs of individuals living with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus.

Motor Neuron Disease

Understanding the progression of Motor Neuron Disease and how to support individuals living with this condition.

Autism

Understanding how to support individuals with autism, including communication preferences and sensory sensitivities.

​

Hernias

Understanding different types of hernias, symptoms to monitor, and safe care considerations when supporting clients.

​

Parkinson’s Disease

Understanding the symptoms and progression of Parkinson’s disease and how it may affect mobility, communication, and daily activities.

Neuropathy

Understanding neuropathy, how it affects the nerves, and how it may impact a person's mobility, sensation, and comfort.

Training completion may be monitored as part of staff development, supervision, and compliance requirements.
